The Hispano Lures Polaris Drifter 177 is a floating soft glide bait for Murray Cod, Barramundi, Flathead, Mangrove Jack, Saratoga, Aussie Bass, Estuary Perch. Its jointed two-section body glides from side to side with a natural, silent action, and when you pause the retrieve it slowly rises back up.

Like the Polaris, the Drifter has a leader-through system, so you can rig the treble on the belly of the lure, and the hook is detachable to protect the body. Because it floats, you can work it slowly just over weed beds and snags, or let it drift up away from cover between pulls. The eye under the chin lets you add extra weight when you want to fish it deeper. At 2 oz it casts well on a medium to heavy swimbait setup.

Hispano Lures is an example of the quality of swimbaits manufactured in Spain by Spanish Artisans, Victor and Mateo.
